Lucario-Accepting Fate

Description

Lucario sarificed himself to save the Tree of Begining- like Jesus did on the cross on easter. Lucario hated humans for what his "Master" did to him- but as like me he misunderstood of what had happened, but when all the pieces of the story come together the truth is reavled of what really happened.

Comment:Okay, I'll start out by saying I love the artists comments and the idea behind it. It's pretty unique, even if I do not know the entire background of this Poke'mon.
Now, to the piece itself. I can tell you are trying to portray that great emotion in this piece. However, I gave you those scores in vision and technique because it is hard to tell what exactly is going on in this piece. For one, that shadows are too dark, and not enough emphasis is put on Lucario himself. It took me a minute to find where his face was. Perhaps, lighting up the atmosphere just a tad, and adding some more shading and perhaps a few other colors (subtle) will help draw him out. I understand the need for the shadows, its just there isn't enough contrast right at the moment.
The eye is looking pretty good, I just suggest the same thing, adding more shading and giving the tears a more transparent texture.
For impact, I think you have a pretty good idea of mood, but maybe, play around with different expression to incorporate the level of sadness you want. References always help!
So that about sums it up. I think you have a really good idea going for you right here, you just need to work a bit on how its being expressed. Hope this helps!
